About the Summit
The After Loss Summit is a hands-on, in-person retreat designed specifically for professionals who support clients with the practical tasks that fall to them after a loss.
This is not your typical conference. It’s an immersive experience where learning happens through doing, sharing, and connecting in real time.
This year's After Loss Summit will be small by design with attendance capped at just 50 participants to foster deeper connections and personalized learning. You asked, we listened: More time together, more networking, more impactful exchanges.

Over the course of three days, you’ll work closely with a small group of peers to walk through the complete client journey—from the first contact through final offboarding. You'll receive client scenarios and guided workbooks that help you explore how to respond to challenges, build trust, and confidently deliver your services with heart and professionalism.
In between workshops and working sessions, you’ll connect over meals, engage in relaxed networking, and join creative conversations around memory preservation, tech tools, and marketing strategies for sensitive services. This summit blends personal reflection, professional development, and powerful community building—because we know your work doesn’t fit into tidy boxes, and neither should your training.
